TTS-1 effects

I recently learned (thanks to Scott Garrigus' book) that TTS-1 has 4 selectable outputs. Prior to that I had been using multiple instances of this useful plug-in.

However, it seems that the built-in reverb and chorus only applies to instruments that are assigned to output 1. Turning up the level of reverb or chorus has no effect for instruments assigned to outputs 2-4. Or am I missing something?

Apply the effect to one of the channels that is assigned to the other outputs (2,3,4) Each output has its own effect settings...

That's the point. Applying the effect doesn't work after selecting one of these outputs. Switch the channel back to output 1 and the effect reappears.

    Hi Kev,

I haven't had time to check this... but you don't need to use the built-in effects. With multiple outputs you can apply effects to the output tracks themselves via the Fx bin. And if you want to use the same effect on all outputs, you can send them to a bus and apply an effect to that bus.

    Thanks for reading my book!

I realise this, but sometimes it's useful to use the built-in effects initially and replace them with something better at a later stage.

The reverb is set on by default, but is noticably absent after switching outputs.
