This may not sound like a legitimate answer...but.... lower the levels of all the other tracks.... at least until you get it tracked. Then bounce the midi to audio and use the normalize function to raise the overall level of the resultant audio track. This also lessens the load on your computer since the midi synth processing thing is not having to be done in real time.
Double click on the TTS synth and open the synth mixer view... be sure all you track & velocity levels are 127. Also.... activate the EQ INSIDE TTS and boost the lows, mids, & highs, that will also add some volume to the overall output levels.
