[CWBRN-24469] - TV fails to scroll when moving(copying) clip with Shift(+Ctrl) held down
I hope this one will be fixed soon... [Steps to Reproduce the Issue] 1. Create a new project. 2. Insert an audio track or MIDI track. 3. Record a take in the track (or drag a file into it). 4. Hold down Shift or Shift+Ctrl and click-drag the clip to the right, to a position currently not visible in the view. [Expected Result] The Track view scrolls to the right automatically (and easily). [Actual Result] The view doesn't scroll at all. If you try harder, it may scroll but it's not easy like when you move the clip without the Shift key. The same applies to when moving/copying clip to the left. Issue #: CWBRN-24469 Reported on March 2, 2014 Confirmed and submitted to development on March 7, 2014

Pause your mouse cursor JUST BEFORE the edge of the TV boundary and it should start scrolling.

...correction: SHIFT+... Missed that. OK, I see what you mean. Confirmed in all versions all the way back to Sonar 5 which is the oldest I have installed(!)

Wait a moment, I've just thought a bit and I'm confused: Shift + drag is for moving a clip vertically into another track and to PREVENT it moving horizontally. Is that right? So if it would scroll horizontally - what should happen when I drop my clip whilst the Shift button is still pressed? Or have you reassigned the key?

It's also for moving a clip horizontally to prevent it moving vertically, which is what I'm doing in the original post.
