Another great cover! Love the bass and synth sounds, good playing and lead singing. There is something about the backing vox though thats not top notch like the rest, maybe the auto tune or the cellar sound, can't figure it out. Still amazing!

This sounds great! Nice job on all of it. Mix is super well done. The stereo image and frequency spectrum sounds perfect.
I love the lead vocal. I would have her push herself a little here and there emotionally. She has a great voice!

Another just loved it. I have a selection of old MTV hits I listen too about once a month to try to preserve what's left of my sanity. This one from Soft Cell is in there. Once again you guys and gal have topped it. This one is a surprise since the original had male vocals. Mrs.'s D vocals and the tasty unique rearrangement and great performances makes this a rare delight. I'll have to hear this many times

Thanks so much Leizer.
The backing vox were actually recorded from the cellar as Liz had locked Bapu and I down there

Suh-weeeeet. A pleasure to listen to, from the mixing standpoint alone. Performances are up to snuff as usual! Her voice is really cool.  To offer a thought, I might take the tambourine down a hair, just to avoid any potential "jingle bells" overtones to what you are doing.

If you are taking 80's one-hit-wonder requests, anything by Level 42 would be a treat!

cheers,
-Tom

This is really awesome! I liked the bg vocals myself, along with the lead singer. Great voice! I do agree with the comment about pushing the emotional energy here and there, but that's also an artistic decision that's totally in keeping with the desperate indifference affected by us cool cats in the 80's. My wife loves this version, danced all over the place. Thanks for this!

Thanks a lot Tom.
I went to see Level 42 back in the day. They were excellent. I remember the lead guitarist did a solo and flew out over the crowd on wires.
I will try and find one of their tunes to cover.
