Take 2: "Don't Tell Christy Its Gonna Rain

Here is an updated version with many of your suggestions incorporated.
New snare
Guitars panned closer
Drum breaks
Organ track added in chorus
Sequence changes
Rain at the end
Better transitions to the break and the acapella section.

Give it a listen and please let me know what you all think! I appreciate any and all comments. Thanks!
Scott

    Hey Scott,
excellent work, this is a big improvement. The first version had a slight 'demo' quality about it but this sounds very slick and well finished, although i'm not too sure about the rain and thunder.
    Good job.

    Scott,

Man I like that opening synth swell .. The mix does sound more polished and produced. The chorus on the guitar is really nice and glossy but it might be mixed a touch loud, could be well within the personal preference thing, but to me the guitar seemed closer to me than the vocals. The thunder is an interesting thematic addition .. hmmm .. it did seem a bit out of place at the snd though, sort of felt tacked on at the last minute and separated from the rest of the piece. Transitions and breaks very well done. Vocals just right, harmonies mixed well. Maybe that thunder would fit at dramatic points in the song, like at the 'day' in forget about that raindy day ... <thunder tail> .. at the start of the lead break for example, just a thought. Hey, nice oooh and ahhh in the chorus, very well done. Good job.

Thanks again. Everyone is always a great help. I agree with the rain and thunder...was kind of fun to put in there to see what it sounded like but is pretty much out of place. Appreciate it.

    Hey Scott, pretty cool.

I think the drums and vocals could come up a smudge though.

Excellent work Scott, this sounds 'finished' to me. I love that chorus sound on the verse guitars and that synth 'swell'. Very catchy, well arranged tune, I hope it does well for you.
