Take Lane behavior in PRV question.

Hi

When I edit midi notes in the PRV of a track with pre-existing data I get new Lanes.  The new Lanes have the new notes but if I deleted notes in the pre-existing data things get very confusing (the pre-existing midi may be a groove clip).  The new Lanes appear with copy n paste as well.

Is there a recommended work flow for midi in PRV?  Is there a way to prevent this behavior?  I would like the X1 behavior if possible.  Sorry if this is beating a dead horse.  I am really trying to love Take Lanes.

Thanks,
Ken

Best Regards,
Ken

Drag-copying within the PRV should keep everything in the same clip. And Paste will if you use Paste Special and select the Paste into Existing Clips option.
