Take Management and Comping Improvements

In the 2016.08 release we got "Comping and Take Management Improvement"
But in the Coming Soon category we see "Take Management and Comping Improvement"
A bit confusing, you must agree.  I'm hoping this is not a web page mistake and that these two features contain different improvements.  But I think the similarity in the two feature's names is confusing and should be changed.

Right now my problem is that I'm working with 4 take lanes of 4 vocal takes. I've split the take lanes into various segments. And I'm using segment parts of one take lane and parts of another.
However, it starts to get confusing keeping track of which segment lanes are in use for which parts of the song.  I have to write down on a piece of paper just to remember which segment lanes are used for which part.  But the notes section for each take lane is somewhat helpful.

The thing that doesn't help at all is that the background for an active take segment is black, while an inactive take segment is dark grey!  Visually this is not very helpful.  I searched in the Colors preferences and could not find how to change those colors.  The only thing I found was how to change the color of a SELECTED lane segment.
Does anyone know how to change the active take lane segment colors?

Hopefully the "Take Management and Comping Improvement" (if there is such a thing) will help working with take lanes (and take lane segments) a lot easier to use visually.

I'm pretty sure the 2016.08 spelled out the comping improvements as "Phase 1" so I suspect what's upcoming is Phase 2.

Thanks Craig,  I'm looking forward to improvements on the take lanes.
In the meantime, do you have any suggestions on how to change the color of active take lanes (or segmented clips) for being able to identify them quicker?   Black and dark grey are too close to see the difference at a quick glance.

Also, in the "Coming soon" the term is actually "Take Management & Comping Enhancements - Managing Takes is getting a makeover".  So I take that to mean there is much more to come in addition to what was released in August.

Lee, did you try to use different themes? Maybe one of them make things easier to differentiate ?

No, the two factory installed themes (Tungsten and the other one...I forgot it's name) do not change the black/grey colors of the take lanes.   I haven't tried any custom themes yet.
