Take lane view not showing in main track

Take lane view not showing in main track

Hi,
 
Probably a simple answer to this, but I can't seem to get the right audio take lane to show in the main track view.  No matter what lane I click on, even if it's all three, only one of them shows.  I also tried doing a "Flatten Comp" and ended up with an empty comp track!  I first selected just the parts of each lane that I wanted, and when that didn't work I selected each entire lane.

I could just bounce to clip, I guess, but I'd like to know why it isn't working the way it should.

    The parent track should show the waveform graphics for whichever clips you'll hear if you play the track.

    That's what I thought, but it's not working.  If I mute the other tracks, it will show on the parent track.  Isn't there a way to force a specific lane to show?
