Taking My Chances (Pop/Rock) Recorded with JIM WIRT!

Long story short, I've been in contact with Jim Wirt who's produced Incubus, Hoobastank, No Doubt, Tommy Lee, Something Corporate, Jack's Mannequin etc for a long while and we've always talked about working together but I was 15/16 when I first started speaking to him. Anyway, fast forward a few years, I got the cash together and flew to the USA on my own in July and worked on a single with Jim, learned a ton of new techniques, saw the United States for the first time and in general, it was incredible and I can't wait to go back and do it again.

I finished off the rest of the album here in the UK using studios and the new techniques I'd learned from Jim and it's coming out in April 2013. Our second single, Hours, which featured Elliot Minor lead vocalist Alex Davies, is out this Thursday (December 20th).

I've put the single I did with Jim below (I did the lyric video, by the way) and then after that the two part travel log I made of my experiences. Great times! Hope you did it. P.S. We are a full band, but the band only got together after I'd booked this so for one song on the album, aside from a session drummer, it's entirely me and Jim Wirt playing on it. You'll see in the videos just how big the studio is, and soon I'll be writing a "making of the album" blog with pictures and neat stuff in it.

Very creative lyrics vid. I like what you did with that. Song sounds great, performance sounds bang on. Best of luck with the rest.
