Always loved the Scorpions! Lovedrive was my favorite album. I used to be able to play fake drums to every song (air drums? I used drumsticks without a kit but knew where every hit and kick was supposed to be!) and I knew all the rhythm guitar parts to each song (plus a couple of the leads). Fun stuff!

Hi, 1st album (Lonesome Crow) ... neither here nor there for me. 2nd album (Fly to the Rainbow) ... still like it ... ahs some very nice long cuts in it. 3rd album (sorry ... don't remember title) ... was a total blow out with a great album cover that was banned in various places, and a different one had to be done for America. The album was hard, fast ... and not great for me, but it was noisy ... and could only really be played ... LOUD. After that, Scorpions became just another loud rock band, and while there were nice things here and there, they were not one of my favorite bands ... enjoyable stuff here and there and that live album is a massive blow out ... but so were many other albums by others.

Actually, their third album was In Trance, but their fourth was one of those banned and/or changed: Virgin Killers. The most well known album that had a revised cover is my favorite: Love Drive (their 7th album).

Mr. Wall of sound is in jail. He's gotta do his hound dog in a little cell in a toilet with no privacy. it would be cool if the scorpions went to visit him and jail and kicked his ass for being so weird.

They did some rather nice ballads too Pedro :) I like pretty much all of the 2nd album ... and one my favorite segues, will always be ... Fly to the Rainbow (title cut) and then Apocaliptyc Bore from Vive La Trance (AD2) ... and you get to enjoy massive blow outs for the last minutes of each piece. Also funny, weird, etc, etc, ... Vive La Trance ... and Scorpions maned theirs In Trance ... but when I listen to Mozambique flare out like it does ... I much prefer the continuous thing rather than a simple rock'n'roll riff ... that doesn't bring the beacan home for this boy!
