Tap Tempo Delay in Sonar Platinum?

Hi Everyone,
I'v looked in Platinum's effect folder and couldn't find a tap tempo delay. Is there a tap tempo included? Thanks

It's a built in tap tempo that could be better, unless you like the mouse.  In the top header Under Project, click Insert tempo changes. then when you click on the tap tempo button you can keep clicking your tempo, or you can switch and use the space bar after the 1st click.

But you will find other methods that may come up in this topic that will be better in my opinion, such as set beat measure at now time.  I can't explain the process now because I have keybindings for all these things.

I missed the word delay, sorry

The Sonitus Delay has a follow song tempo setting. You can set it to any note value and even a different note value for left and right. Use it on everything I can. So no need to tap the tempo at all, Sonar already knows.

I believe the only bundled tempo delay with a tap feature is the digital delay in TH2 Producer.

    Thanks for the replies.
The convenience and efficiency of the tap tempo feature is what I really need, so I ended up getting H-Delay for a good price on sale.
IMO, a delay with this feature is essential, and would be a nice addition to Platinum's Rolling Updates.

    Thanks again

Is the reason why you want tap tempo to sync up with the song tempo?

Yes, though Im not sure of the song tempos.
I mostly import instrumental backing tracks and overdub vocals on them. I do the same with songs from band rehearsal. I dont know the tempos, so the tap feature is really easy for this.

Ah, I see. There are ways to conform SONAR to tempos, but I get that "tap tempo' for the delay would be easier.
