Tascam US800 digital output problem

The manual for the US800 says it can do digital audio IN and OUT spdif.  I have everything hooked up to my AxeFx spdif IN/OUT.  For some reason, Sonar Platinum won't find the digital output (US800 7/8).  It gives me the option to choose it in Input and it does receive that signal.  I can't figure out how to make US800 7/8 show up in output settings.  I tried re-installing the US800 drivers which did nothing, and the driver/firmware is the latest.

Any ideas?  Thanks in advance, and Merry Christmas if you're reading this :-)

In SONAR Preferences, do you have those ins/out check boxes checked?

The last image on the right, Focusrite 9 is my S/PDIF. It's unchecked, so it won't show as an available port.

The driver for 7/8 only shows up under input.  Not even available to choose in output.

Hi. They are not by any chance taken by another application (Windows sounds, Skype), and therefor not available to SONAR?
    All the best.

Victory is MINE!!!  Only took 157 hours - D'OH!!

Figured out the the control panel for the US800 interface defaults to mixer for the "computer" outputs.  I changed it to output 3/4 which is available to select, and it works.

Thanks for the replies above.  I appreciate it.
