Tascam us 1800

Our group currently records on a Fostex 16 track digital recorder then exports the individual tracks to the computer via  Fostex WAV manager program.  This works fine but is probably not as efficient as recording right into Sonar.  In order to record all of us at the same time, we are considering the Tascam us 1800 because it allows for 8 xlr inputs and 6 line inputs.  Has anyone had experience with this unit with Sonar Studio x1, Win 7 / 64?
