I'm editing this original thread which I used for the DR 40 as these deals don't last long. But this is for all you people looking for a basic interface and it also comes with Sonar x3 LE which will give you Producer for only $99 as an upgrade so that's like $100 value there. If I needed a 2 channel interface I'd be hitting the big BUY button now.

    Thanks Larry.  This is the first stupid deal in ages that has even tempted me.  I saw it this morning and resisted, but after seeing it again... it's soooo tempting. 

    They call 'em fingers, but I've never seen 'em fing.

    That's an excellent deal for a 4-track recorder that features XLR and quarter-inch inputs and phantom power! I too am tempted. Unfortunately, my meager gear acquisition budget has already been allocated (for a much less-exciting Kontakt upgrade).

    Well... it looks like we are safe from temptation.  I couldn't resist and added it to my cart... it was promptly removed because it's unavailable.  Bummer, but I too can't really afford it until I sell some of the gear I have up for sale.  Got pres and mics lately and need to sell the pre and mics they replaced first.
