Teaching a young dog old tricks

Hi all:
I have been coming here to learn and see what other users do to solve problems or issues.  I thought that was the purpuse of this forum.  I am old school, I don't tweet, twitter, facebook, or any other means of senseless comunication.  My main purpose is to MAKE MUSIC.  I check this forum daily because I am still learning X1 and as we all know some issues still need to be addressed.  The tone and complection of this forum has turned into a gripe fest with a little bit of actual help sprinked here and there.  I myself have issues with X1 but I'm not going to rant like an idiot.  The bugs will  get worked out the product will get better and the main point MUSIC will be produced.  If the people here spent the time they used to rant and useed it to make music I wounder how many #1 hits or awards or movie scores or, well you get my point.  Can we please have our forum back?

Thanks,
mpop

The forum is alive and well. All you've done is add to the problem.

Hey dude, just wanted to let you know that you're not alone out there. If you watch most of the threads lately, you'll notice that its mainly the same few self-appointed 'big dawgs' that seem compelled to use this forum to vent their most likely mis-placed frustrations.

Some of the greatest music ever recorded was created using many fewer tracks and capabilities than can be accessed using the average netbook available today. Most of us quieter ones know that if you can't make decent music with SONAR X1, 8.5, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4 or even SONAR 1...it ain't the software that's the problem.

As you said, the bugs will be fixed, then those same guys will find other things to complain and argue about. Meanwhile, many of us continue to watch in amazement and silently ponder how much music could have been recorded in the time it takes to type out 10000+ forum messages?
