Tech Support 1-6pm? must be nice.

SonarX2
Project is not producing sound, what to look for?
  1. wav files and levels clearly show audio signal output
  2. Win7 audio is set correctly (with the same settings, other Sonar projects play audio)
  3. no track is muted or Archived
  4. New project and Other projects open and playback correctly.
  5. Sonar Project Path is correctly set

Be sure the track routing is correct. Check the buses and make sure they are routed to you main out.

Make sure everything is routed to your master bus, and master bus to main outs.

A couple more things to check..........

Switch to Offset mode (Press O) and check that the tracks or buss levels haven't been lowered to -INF.
Check for volume envelopes at minimum on busses/tracks

[SOLVED] MASTER (bus) out is routed to the incorrect MAINS

This has happend before when opening projects. What would cause Sonar to re-rout outputs?

What was it re-routed to? What interface(s) do you have defined in SONAR?

Also, loading a project on one machine that was created/last-saved on another where the two machines use different inferfaces.  I juggle that scenario frequently because I can sit still at one machine in the same room for too long....!

The folks on here definitely are a valuable bunch!

For whatever it's worth, we're not sleeping during the other parts of the day ;) Most customers prefer to email us these days (and trust me we get a lot of emails from all over the world) and of course tech support doesn't just end the moment we hang up the phone or hit "send". Bonus is that we still provide free tech support for qualified products (most companies charge, and charge quite a lot at that).

Thanks for being there for when we're not everyone!

I've had nothing but the very best service from the people at CW. This goes back quite a few years.
