Technical Forum?&"SONAR_LEVEL_UP.mp3"?=(Bandlab);

OK, to celebrate Bandlab I produced an audio emotion that really, I think Kicks Arse so my quest is:

I believe in the OLD forum SONGS could not be posted in the MAIN forum. This is Illogical. It's all about the music so in the NEW forum perhaps songs could be posted even in the main forum. This would provide maximum new music exposure because I think a lot of us don't visit the song forum enough or is it just me?

On another note, I do not have a song I made to celebrate the unity of SONAR, CAKEWALK & Bandlab, but I did produce this audio emotion: http://www.trustmedia.tv/SONAR_LEVEL_UP.mp3

Me thinks it's an install DAW song...dreams. - S

NICE!  http://www.trustmedia.tv/SONAR_LEVEL_UP.mp3
You should be doing film scoring!! (perhaps you are...)

You wrote
unity of SONAR, CAKEWALK & Bandlab
.  I don't think the deal includes the entirety of Cakewalk, just the DAW-formerly-kinown-as-SONAR.

Win-7 Professionalx64.  CWBL, SONAR X3e, & most other previous versions.  TASCAM US-1800 audio interface.  A bunch of outboard stuff that never gets used anymore (ADAT boat anchors, smoooth LA4 comps (miss them!), etc.)  Way too many instruments.

The Song forum is a group of folks sharing, helping and critiquing each others music. And it's peer to peer as apposed to just having your wife critique your latest creation.
I listen to peoples stuff there from time to time when the mood strikes.  It's fun, but I don't always have any speakers hooked up.
I have posted some of my songs as well. It's cool to have people listen on other systems and there is a few very keen ears available.  I even ended up collaborating on a song when another member took a liking to mine and offered their services.

But why would you want to clutter the main forum with content that is of little interest to your average person coming here for help? When I'm in the mood to listen to songs I go there, I'd hate to have to dig through the main forum for that experience.

Because I like hearing what people are doing the most, it gives me creative ideas but you may be right or perhaps songs should be listed first not second to last...these are just suggestions...I'll just post my audio emotions until spanked (every once in a great while) or until the rules change about songs which I have been told have words...my emotions do not so I hear they are not songs, a loophole? - Shawn Lee Farrell

The forum has not changed.  There is a specific area for posting music.
