Technics Piano connection to PC

My Aunt has a Technics Digital piano connected to her PC! Will Music Creator 3 be able to record what I play to the computer ?

How do connect a mixer and a mic to your computer to record it? (I have a Yamaha Mixer and a Technics Microphone) . Any thoughts would be helpful.

    Hey DP,
Welcome to the forum. If you can connect it to the computer and get sound, it can be recorded. How you go about it depends on the connection, and whether it is putting out audio or MIDI data.
    I like Yamaha's mixers(I have an MG10/2).
Connect the -10 outputs to your sound card line in. Your mic, and possibly the keyboard should be routed through the mixer.
Tell us more about the keyboard, and what kind of signal(s) it can output.

The two 1/4" line outs will transmit audio. If you want to record the sounds from the keyboard, connect these to the line in of the computer. The MIDI should be one in and one out. Is the PC connection a USB connector? This should transmit MIDI only, and you could use this if you don't have MIDI connections on the computer. You would use this to play softsynths like the Edirol VSC using your keyboard. Do tutorial #8 to get a handle on that.
What are you using for your sound card? Built in or other?
