Tell me once again ...

What is the key to reset the browser in Rapture? I get the programs for the CM to show up but not the new multisamples to load with programs. I loaded some by hand, but ...

thanks in advance.

I'm not sure what 'key' you're talking about, but it is most convenient to put the new multisamples into the folder containing the other installed files. Otherwise, you can navigate to their present location using the windows dialog that pops up.

I don't recall the default location, but if you search for Multisamples, you'll soon find it.

To refresh the program browser, you use F5--just like Internet Explorer or Firefox.

I've got a hunch here, @. Did you drag the entire Multisamples folder from the CM disk, and place that under Rapture's Multisamples?
(In other words, a path like ...\Program Files\Cakewalk\Rapture\Multisamples\Multisamples?)

These programs want to 'see' the Galbanum CE subset directly under Multisamples, among (and at the same 'level' as) 000 - sine.wav, 001 - sine squared.wav, etc. The Program files ... well, it really doesn't matter if you bring along the 'CM Special Edition Programs' subfolder, or scatter them in there in alphanumerical order. I kept the folder structure (and followed that ReadMe suggestion) for organizational purposes.

    Thanks all. F5, right.

And Tom, that was the ticket for finding the multisamples. Much easier than reloading the right samples in the right element. Now I guess I need to reload some others that I stuck in a 3rd party folder.

Nice work, too, Tom. Some excellent patches that are a joy to play, even to a 6 fingered keyboardest like me. Wonderful use of envelopes.

    thanks again,
