Temp File

I had a piece which was a single midi piano track.I've lost the file,possibly deleted.I can find a temp file of this track but cant seem to open it.What can i do with the temp file?

    If the temp file is in the format nnn.tmp, you could try simply renaming the file by replacing the .tmp with .wav in Windows Explorer.

    Except they might want to name it .cwp since it was a single midi track :)

    I tried renaming it but it still wont open
