Templates missing on Startup page

Hi,
Sonar Platinum

I don't remember which update it was (I've installed them all through Jamaica Plain), but after installing the update
from Command Center, the new start screen appears with the template window, but there are no templates to
choose from. It's completely empty. Since the updates are installed automatically with no user interaction, I assume all path related items are installed where they should be.

Any reason why I have no start templates? I thought there were basic templates included for various session types.
Or do I have to create my own and save them for later use?

Thanks!

Make sure the path to Templates is correct in Preferences > File > Folder Locations. If it is correct and there are template files in the folder, it may be a corrupted Start Screen cache. The cache is a folder stored in your user directory in the SONAR Platinum folder along with the ini files, default plug-in menu layouts, drum maps, etc. Either delete or clear the contents of the StartPageCache folder in "C:\Users\<yourUserName>\AppData\Roaming\Cakewalk\SONAR Platinum." If deleting or clearing the contents feels to drastic (although it gets rebuilt on the fly less your customizations and info about notices read), rename the folder. You can always put it back if it turns out to be something else.
