Tempo Blues

I just did a project with 130.00 bpm tempo and sent to friend. He say his program reads it at 130.65 bpm.....what is happening here. Is Sonars tempo accurate for projects? This is my first issue.

If he's using some flavor of SONAR, and you sent him the project file, it's not really possible for the project tempo to be wrong.

But if you just sent him an audio file, it's quite possible whatever software he's using is mis-detecting the average tempo based on slight variations in the performance timing and/or beat detection. In that case, he just needs to 'tell' his software the tempo is 130, and it should sync up if it was synced for you.
