Tempo Change

I created a song using soft synths and midi instruments.  I then laid down vocal tracks.  I now want to adjust the tempo of the song to make it a little slower.  Changing the tempo affects the soft synths and the midi instruments but not the vocals.  How do I get audio tracks to respond to tempo changes?

You need to record them again.

That is the best and easiest solution.

Audio doesn't respond to the tempo changes in the time line.

    +1 exactly.

if you absolutely cannot re-record (like if the guy who laid down the awesome guitar track has passed away from terminal cancer now), there are a couple of options, but none as good as re-recording.

you can change it to a groove clip and change the tempo, then you'd have to move it around in the project to get it at the correct place in time.  large changes of tempo will not sound right, either.

another option is to upgrade to X1 Studio or Producer and use Audiosnap.

    best way is to re-record.

    Which MC do you have?
In MC 6, select each track in turn then go to the top, Process>Length and set it to 125% or so.
It didn't want to work for me when selecting multiple tracks, but it worked 1 track at a time.
This won't change the tempo of the song, though.
The best thing is to rerecord it.

Thanks to all for the suggestions.  Bottom line is I'm thankful the guy who laid the vocals is still kicking, being as that is me.  And the moral of the story is to nail down the tempo before laying any audio tracks.....thanks again!

    Yup...live and learn...

Like the times I didn't tune my guitar to 440 before recording. then the midi was out of tune...
