Tempo Page

Hi all,

I am trying to use the tempo page. Everything is working nicely, except for one thing - the left side scale are really odd numbers, like 110.4, 11.2, 112, 112.8 etc.  I would love it if I could specifiy a range, and have it show increments like .5 or whatever I choose.

Does anyone know how to do?

Rick

No, it's not possible to specify the interval and/or range; SONAR just calculates what will fit based on the zoom level.

Your best bet will probably be to zoom to one of the levels that gives whole numbers. I just checked, and depending on whether you zoom in from the minimum resolution of 20 BPM per division or out from the maximum of .2 BPM per division, you can get whole number increments of 1.00, 3.00, 4.00, 5.00, 6.00, 8.00, 12.00, 15.00, 16.00 and 20.00 BPM/division.

Can't the range and increment/interval (aka "Step") be set via "Project > Insert Series of Tempos"?...

Or am I missing something about the OP's question?

He wants the numbers in the scale of the graphical tempo view to be whole numbers or regular fractions of a beat rather than irregular intervals of .4, .6, .8, 1.4, etc. that SONAR tends to display.
