Tempo issues in Matrix view

I'm using SONAR X2.  I've got a column setup in Matrix view.  The first row has an audio clip (guitar) that I recorded.  I put this clip in the matrix view cell by dragging the clip from the track view.  The tempo is 114 bpm (which was set at measure 4 of the project (where the audio clip starts) and not measure 1).  The second row has a drum midi clip.  I originally dragged a clip from the MIDI track in track view (I had dragged the clip from EZDrummer to the track view, and turned it into a groove clip).

When I click on the column in the matrix view to start playing, the drums are not playing at the same tempo as the audio.  I tried dragging the drum clip from EZDrummer directly into the matrix view, but it still wasn't the right tempo.

What determines the tempo of the cells in the matrix view?  Do I need to do something special with the MIDI clip to get the tempo to be correct?

Thanks,
Jim
