Tesla: Industrial space techno??

Chanelled directly from the lovely beings who live on venus. Yes it's true. Honest.

For best effect, turn your volume control up to 11.

He was the Leonardo of his day... My ignorance of this genera is on display. This sounds more like classic Blipp to me than anything else? :-) I thought it was pretty good. I can see why you call it space techno. It seems like it would fit good in a SciFy movie. For a twist, I make that that buzzy synth and make it talk with a Vocoder :-)

Very cool!  Love the different textures and those bass tones.  You are a master of this genre.  Really great stuff - sounds really good on my K240's.  What kind of synths do you use to put something like this together?

    Thanks Robby.

    Cheers for checking it out.

That buzzy synth is actually a snare drum put through an arpegiator and processed.  Loved the sound it gave and it reminded me of sparking Tesla coils. :-)

Yep he was a genius who never got the respect he deserved. Crimininally, virtually written out of the hiistory books.   We'd all have free energy now if his work had'nt been supressed.

Thanks Geno for the kind words. Glad you liked it. :-)

Great to hear it sounds good on your K240's. It's good to get that confirmation as i have the same headphones myself.

The synths i'm using are just the ones that came with my DAW (Project 5) and a few free vsti's i downloaded.

    Cheers.

Really enjoyed the interplay with the electronic instruments and the contrast between some of the smooth pad-like sounds with the faster synths.

    Great job, blipp.

really cool track Blipp! I think me and you are kind of in the same boat musically. i've taken to just calling it "electronica" ... seems like an all encompassing enough term to cover anything like this or what i make :-)

really good though. i like all the layers you're using and the atmosphere it creates.

    Hi John,

Great to hear new music from you! This is cool...upbeat and sinister at the same time.

I really like the panning of the different synths/sounds. Excellent!

This is'nt actually a new track, but another from my "pending file" of tracks that never got properly finished, mixed and mastered.

Yes, a real treat through headphones as always John. Fantastic sound choices, all fitting perfectly like a sonic jigsaw. Did I hear 'Alien piano1' from DimPro in there?

Yep, that's "Alien piano" . Dimension came with my DAW (Project 5) and i do tend to use it quite often as i love it's atmospheric sound.
