Thank you all for the kind comments.
Thanks to everyone for the kind comments. I really do appreciate them. I had a heart attack, and the bad part is if you looked at me and saw me in person you would think there is no way this healthy eater person could ever have that type of problem. But I did. I'm 42 years old, and to be honest with everyone here I've started to re-evaluate what my plans for my life are. I'm so happy to be alive, and you really don't know what you've got 'till it's gone so to speak. My problems started out with my hands and feet going numb, then I walked 5 feet to the bathroom and had these blackout type of episodes. I mostly needed rest and that is what I have been doing lately. I can feel myself getting better, 2 weeks ago I couldn't even walk 5 feet without feeling like I was going to pass out. I don't do drugs, heck the last time I took an asprin was when this started, and that was the first time in 25 years or so. I DO NOT DO DRUGS. Although I have drank a heck of a lot of beer. No Liquor, I hate that crap! My old saying has always been : "If I am nothing else in this life, I will always be honest because you can't take that away from me". Whatever the case, Just thought I'd let everyone know what's going on with me and why I just vanished all the sudden. I'm sorry, Bobby

Hi Bobby sorry to here of your health issue. I hope all goes better. I empathize completely with your situation.Hang in there and keep getting regular check ups, to be sure you don't miss anything. If you you look at my picture there to the left, thats me with my wife just a couple years ago.... You'd never think of me as a cardiac patient, but I am. I had open heart surgery back in 1970, To correct an aortic steno-sis. I have since suffered most of my life with elevated blood pressure and PVC's. My arrhythmia is getting worse with age and my heart walls are showing the years of elevated blood pressure......... Enough about my stuff....its good to see your still with us.

Take it from me Bobby thinks WILL get better. You're young! One thing I can pass on to you is to try to have FUN from here on out in your daily life. I am in the process of learning to enjoy the things around me. Heck, I find my self smiling for no reason nowadays.

See, I knew it- there's no keeping Bobby down. Welcome back, and so glad to hear you're feeling better. And here I was bemoaning the pain from the tooth I had extracted, and then I read this thread. Now I'm loving my pain and problems.

Wow - best wishes, Bobby, and stay the course - you'll be feeling better. In the mid 80's - in his mid 50's - my Dad had a heart attack, and he was the healthiest one in the family. Exercised, didn't smoke, drink, dance on Sundays - any of that. But he WAS a true "type A" personality, carried around a lot of stress and such. If our neighbor at the time wasn't an EMT, I don't know what might have happened. (You out there, Tommy? You can still use me for a floor mat any time your shoes are dirty...) But Dad's still with us at 85 - has other issues, but his heart isn't one of them. I'm closing in on 55 - could stand to lose 20 pounds, smoke, basically a couch 'tater. Had my first general physical in several years a few months back, and surprisingly the numbers all look good. And I live a very relaxed life - nothing's worth getting bunched up about. But I keep Dad in mind........

Hey Bobby. Sorry to hear about your health problems. I hope everything works out ok for you. You said you drank a lot of beer, unless you got fall down drunk every night, beer actually isn't that bad for you. :) Glad your back. Bub

Bobby: Wow. You are so right about that..you really do not know what you have until then...I'm so glad you are still with us... I had a heart attack that led to basically what is known as a cardiac arrest. That is when one's heart is in what is called ventricular tachycardia...in my case it ended up as a Ventricular Defibrillation...I now have an ICD in my chest that controls my hearts pace... Take care of yourself...you have a whole life ahead of you...

bapu Hey Bobby, glad to hear you're doing better. Take it slow man. You've got 16 years to catch up with me. Man, you can't never choose or have a choice when these type of things happen. I'm a healthy eater for the most part. I grill out about 2 or 3 times a year, and I cut the fat off of the meat I grill. I'm a healthy eater, LOL, the doctor said I eat better than him! To be 100% honest with you, I never got to meet either one of my grandfathers because they died before I was born. My dad's dad died at the age of 42 of a heart attack, which is my age. Thank you for the kind comments, and thanks to everyone for their kind comments. I'm getting better. You just don't realize how much of a joy it is to be able to walk outside and just enjoy the day until something bad happens and you know you may never have that opportunity again. Reality started for me when this happened, in a way, if I keep getting better it is probably the best thing ever because when I wake up, I am so happy and thankful for so many things. Thanks man, I appreciate your kind comments and everybody elses. Musically, this has sent me in a different direction, not that I was ever that good to begin with, but trust me when I say I wanna do nothing but good no matter what it cost me from here on out. My evil sounding guitar days just aren't there anymore. I just would like everyone to be ok and safe and happy. If whatever little bit of crap I make up with my noise does that then so be it, but if it doesn't, so be it. I'm just happy to be alive and able to walk more than 5 feet without having that blackout feeling. Sadly, one of my brothers neighbors died last week of a heart attack, I didn't really know the dude but I had met him at my brothers house, he seemed like a nice person, he looked healthier than me that's for sure. He was on ly 37, and I"m 42. Thanks again for the kind comments, Bobby
