Thanks To Noel & The Tech Guys @ Bandlab

I just upgraded to CbB Version 24.04.1 BUILD 31 [ 2018.04]- 64...per latest ver. Band Lab Assistant.
Took me all of ....what?........... 7 mins.........if that.
Subsequently Fired up my latest projects......&...........RESULT........all recent projects firing on ALL cylinders.
All VST & VSTI nominated locations from previous installs.......perfectly 'asleep' and in place as directed.
Hey........Credit where it is due.
As per subject line..............'hats off' to Noel and the CbB Tech team + of course .......MENG for backing the whole $#@# thang :)
Cheers...........Frank

It was easy for me too. I see no reason for those that are hesitating, since you can have both CbB and Splat both installed and if you want to open both at the same time, maybe to check settings.

What I'm most pleased about is the dramatic improvement in stability - almost no crashes now. No more crashes that require a reboot for me.

I remember reading Bandlab will be releasing monthly Cakewalk updates like Gibson used to.

Noel Borthwick [Cakewalk]
There is a bunch of new stuff coming in BA for the next CbB update.

And

Noel Borthwick [Cakewalk]
We have some major new features, enhancements and bug fixes coming in the next months.

That sounds great but I'm more interested in the long term roadmap of the company... What upcoming addons are planned to sell etc.

We'll have to be patient.
They can't say because the competitors are listening and that information is sensitive.

Band Lab are playing catch up and stabilizing the existing customer base plus all the new users that are likely to climb aboard - recovering from Gibsons ball drop. This is a very good thing.

Rbh, I agree.

That's why early access was important, to let everyone know that Cakewalk isn't dead,
but that there is forward movement and keep everyone in the loop about what's happening.
