Thanks a lot CakeWalk and Gibson for absolutely NOTHING
I bought Sonar Pro for one year Oct 28 then I mentioned I got Sonar to a co-worker and he tells me they are out of business. Nice and sneaky like shut down, real nice. Maybe an email would have shown a bit of respect to the people that had just bought it, and then to find out barely a month after they get it there is basically no more support or updates, the company has folded. Of course they offer refund within 30 days, hahahaha what a joke, that is great if you happened to find out in time : ( Everyone else is screwed! CakeWalk and Gibson are bad people that do bad business. I really hope that all of Gibson tanks, you just don't do that to customers. You knew you were going out of business and would no longer fully support or update the product when you sold it to me on Oct 28, 2017. Please tell me what the date was when you first posted you were shutting down on the web site? Why were there no emails that this was happening when it was posted to the web site? Why were people that did purchase within 30 days of the shutdown no proactively made aware of that? That is very bad business. But I guess that is what you get when you do business with a company that fully embraces " Let the buyer beware" A very regretful customer

Ho hum. Does your DAW work and process audio, or does it not. There you go.

can't speak for gibson, but cakewalk has been a great comany. This was done TO them, not BY them.

If you'd been following the full story, you would know that Cakewalk management was largely to blame for the decisions that failed to get them back on their feet.

/startFanboyRant So your setup has multiple problems with SONAR compared to the (tens of?) thousands or other SONAR users who work (relatively) seamlessly? /endFanboyRant

Yeah. Exactly.
Well I love Sonar so much I married it. We have kids now (2 floppy disks of Cakewalk for Windows 3). If you've got any problems with Sonar you are doing it wrong.. I shall be blogging about this in future but in the meantime I have cowbell samples to sell. BTW if you disagree with me I will FOLLOW YOU and HUNT YOU DOWN.
Cheers.
