Thanks for the AZ Controller

Hi,

I've tried the AZ controller by AZ Slow today and it is really one of the best plugins I have used so far !

Many Thanks.

I'm sure Alexey will answer your question but until then, this is what works here:

    Logic:
    Action conditions>Mode
    Action configuration>Function
    Select Strip

And yes, it is a really, really great plug-in!

Klaus description is "close" to working solution
    The action list should be
    1. Strip
    2. Function / Select Strip

In the "Strip" there are quite some options:
    a) "Track/Bus" absolute (<First>) strip (f.e. +1 to select the strip number 2, strips are counted from 0...)
    b) "Track/Bus" WAI (color bar left side in the Track View, under strips in Console view, you can move it with mouse) related strip (f.e WAI +2)
    c) Current focus related, f.e next is <Current> + 1
    d) If you create Software Set "My tracks" (in the Options Tab) and add "VOX" State there, you can choose it as an option in the "Strip" action. So you can select "VOX" (strip name), independent from where you move it.

For that to work, the focus should be in the correct pane. If you are currently in the bus pane, focusing different Track will work, but the result will be "invisible". To also change the pane, you will need another actions (due to a bug in Sonar it is a bit more complicated to make the pane switch reliable).

But as I have already mentioned, just let me know on my forum which button definitions you need and I will make an example preset for that (this forum does not have attachments and this discussion is not directly about Sonar...).
