That 'last thing on earth' you'll never eat?

If I was the last person on earth and all there was to eat was creamed corn I would just lay down and die.

    I'm going with Stewed Okra.

Yeah.  I think I'd just let the zombies take me rather than eat that.

Of course, the odds of my survival without processed foods is not very high, so I don't think I'm likely to encounter this situation anytime soon.  If I do, I'll let you know.

Hey Bapu.  I suppose it's a little late in the thread to clear this up--but let's give it a shot.  Are you saying that--if given the choice--you'd rather die than eat creamed corn?

I, on the other hand, would probably try to eat the fish one last time.  I probably would kill me, but I'd give it a shot.  What's so bad about creamed corn, anyway?  It's fairly bland and inoffensive.  Speaking of bland and inoffensive, I'm not much of a fan of mushrooms.  Mostly, I don't like the texture.  I didn't think there was much in the way of nutrients, but I've been corrected about that.  I may have to try to find a way to make them edible.

    Yummy,--NOT!

Even if they perfect the technology, some janitor or someone will hit the wrong button or bump the wrong lever and everyone will get sick.  In San Diego they were talking about doing the same kind of thing with the  water supply.  It was called "Toilet to Tap".  I have the same objection to that.  The agencies can't even keep the beaches open without a few closures each year for some kind of sewage spill and they want us to drink or eat the stuff.  I don't think so.
