You have some tasty guitar playing there -- some of it reminds me in tone and execution of Santana.  The thing that distracted me was that the drums sound a little out of sync or something -- just didn't feel right with the rest of the tune.  But some really good guitar...!!

Listening to this on my Surface Pro 4 so not the best speakers. However, the mix sounds nice and clear and some mean guitar chops being shown - great job.

One minor, minor point and this is just my personal taste. The start of the song seems to be bang on the zero mark, I would suggest having one empty bar and start from mark 2.1.0.0 on Sonar. Now excuse me whilst I go and strangle that seagull cawing outside my window and ruining my enjoyment of this song.

Hmm... I've never even considered adding space at the beginning but it makes total sense. Thanks for the tip!

Ditto on the Santana reference - I hear a bit of that too.  Nice bluesy tune, clear mix, and I kinda like the guitars on each side with the reverby vocals down the middle.   S-Gear is sounding very good on all of the guitars!

For the drums, to me it sounds like the snare is playing behind the beat - if it's MIDI I'd try dragging those forward just a little to see if it matches up better with the energy and push of the guitars.

    Love the sound...
After about the 2 min mark, I'd almost forgot about the trailing snare so I don't think it's everywhere.

This reminds me of some small club in the middle of nowhere on Blues night.

    Good stuff.

Thanks stevec and arlen for the comments and the tip! It is midi... Addictive Drums 2 with the Blues midi pack.

Yeah I like the vibe I was getting from the Duke amp in SGear for that tune. I don't know though... every time I go with one of my amps through the Suhr reactive load and IR's I miss that "feel" and "punch" that software just can't replicate though. Still undecided... I really like the simplicity of SGear but I love the familiarity and feel of my amps through the RL/IRs.

Another thing I like about SGear is in these hot summer months, my tube amps _really_ warm-up my small studio space! It's quite significant believe it or not.
