That's it - I'm giving up! (Now with price list.)

My last custom guitar is currently back with the luthier who made it so I could get a car.  The car I bought from the son of a friend lasted almost a month and is now about to be towed away as scrap...  Not a good scene.  So, I still need a car to get a job therefore, being a guitarist without a guitar, I don't need my guitar gear and that means the following is headed onto Craigslist first then eBay if necessary.

The two preamps are already there as well as the G-Force and G-Card, but the rest will follow soon.  I've got at least 70 more items (including my entire vocal rack, most of my stomps, lots of mics, rack cases and accessories) that will be going up over the next few days as well.

But it's not all doom and gloom, the luthier is still building me one more custom guitar (which is now completely paid for) and I can get my other custom back for a reasonable price once I'm working.  Also, I've decided to "stay inside the PC" and intend to get an Axe FX II when I can to use instead of all the live gear.  Hopefully, I'll be back and playing with guitars before Christmas!

If you see anything that looks interesting to you, I've gone out to eBay and averaged that last five completed listings so I have a good idea of what each item is worth.  Obviously shipping and insurance would be on top of whatever price gets decided on.  I will probably add a list of the other things to this thread later.  Damn it takes a lot of time and effort to get everything ready to sell!

Yee haw...  Life goes on.

Ouch. So sorry to read that, Craig.
Best of luck with the sale and crossing fingers that good fortune will smile upon you soon enough.

Man I wish you the best Craig! I know what it's like being without money, home, equipment, and transportation. My son ended up giving me a gas card to help with my getting around and (fingers crossed) so far my old heap is still running. As Strummy once told me, and it really helped my frame of mind, "Keep your chin up". Things will swing around for I'm sure! Good luck

I'm not getting the link on my iPad. Sorry ol pal...hope it works out for the very best. Might suggest you look also at the Kemper instead of the Axe...it's also killer diller. Plus I could send you some sweet amps!

Good luck Craig and if I were more serious about recording and could justify I'd go for the FX II too.

Hang in there Craig. You really are an inspiration. You set a good example with your attitude. I am happy to know you. This world would be a much better place if everyone responded to life's ride with your attitude.

I know everything is relative but I am going to think twice before I whine about anything in my life.

Best to you.

Hi,

Well, you could always answer the emails or on occasion see if you can drop by. I did offer to make it worth your while, but if you don't have a car, yeah, that is a hassle, though I'm just off I-205 near the Wall Mart on Mill Plain.

Email me, if you need a push. I'm off Wednesdays and Thursdays, and often bored if I don't spent the whole day in bed!

As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... prevents you from becoming just another turkey in the middle of all the other turkeys!

I'm still getting pictures, accessories, manuals & that damn ad copy together, but here's a list of some of the items.  Prices are based on the last five completed sales on eBay then adjusted due to the quality of my specific items.  Obviously Coffee-Housers should get a bit better but, unfortunately, shipping isn't included!  Let me know if you think any of the prices are really out of whack (and I'll add some whack  ).  Feel free to ask questions about any of it too!

It's just life telling me I wasn't meant to go in that direction.  I broke my playing arm the night after joining a friend's band on stage and after only playing "live" for about six months (took months for the nerve to regrow - stopped playing for many years).  That was a far more painful clue that I wasn't meant to be a rock star!
