Ok Michael, let's see... Return to Forever, Di Meola, Klugh - Check, check and check. But which artist did Big Bamboo? Here's a list of artists that have done an album called "Big Bamboo" (or "The Big Bamboo") and I don't think I've ever heard of any of them! Slick Merrymen Ennio Maccaroni Sonny's Inc. Gotz Alsmann The Demons Max Woiski Jr. Lord Creator Saragossa Band Stanley & The Turbines Hiltonaires Richie Delamore The Mighty Skipper Roy Shurland And His Big Bamboo Orchestra Zzongo Lord Jellicoe
I'm sorry Craig. Cheech and Chong spelling *bambu* - I guess auto correct got it and I didn't notice. I should have listed artist with title but figured they were well known. Al Di Meola and Earl Klugh. Glad I didn't try to list 100 of what I think were great.
Ah, that makes more sense now! I couldn't help but start laughing that there were SO many artists I had never heard of that had put out an album called Big Bamboo.
Time for all of you to head over to Beyond My DAW!

lawp what were the last 3 albums everyone bought?
Not sure about the order to arrive at the last three but I have bought all of these in the past six months. Touchstone - Oceans of Time Steven Wilson - The Raven That Refused to Sing. Lightin' Hopkins - The Collection Luna Rossa - Sleeping Pills and Lullabies Big Big Train - English Electric (Part One) Fuseboxx - Animated Days Between Stations - In Extremis Maybe this should be a seperate thread? edit - made the artist / title order consistent.

This was the last album I bought. It included a CD, t-shirt and don't remember what else... maybe AARP membership discount. ( kiddin'....thought Bat would like that lol). ( the last I bought- not a great album) My wife says this was the last one I bought...I haven't opened it and don't think I have another album that is purple vinyl but I imagine it looks great...I know it'll sound great. Fireball, In Rock, Book of Taliesyn and Perfect Strangers were "list" albums. If only one...Fireball. Any list that doesn't include one from this band...well I'll be nice...more than one could make the list but this one is not only loaded with great music it was also pulled off the shelves so it's worth many coins too. Both are in my collection and in excellent condition (not boasting, just a fact) ....and in my top 100 list. (oh...if you don't know what I mean...you live with Sheldon, don't you?) Mosh...if you don't or can't appreciate the music this band created on this album I can't say that I would ever invite you to a cook-out. You're on your own buddy.

Well, it's actually just a track on the Vive Le Trance album, but that was funny just the same! Except for the intro (and maybe some of the lyrics), it's really a nice, melodic tune. Heck, I bet you'd like it James!

After all these years, I finally think I understand Cockney Rhyming Slang... After listening to an album by James Blunt.

He doesn't like a violin taking a guitar to task or vice versa! It's too much for one ear! I really wanted Rain to hear that duet and how the guitar is used, but he doesn't like Fenders!

As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... prevents you from becoming just another turkey in the middle of all the other turkeys!

I still have the strat, though I've retired it. It was my main guitar for over 15 years. The amp I sold in 2000 IIRC. The wah I gave to a fan/friend. The tube drive... I can't remember, but it's long gone.
