Hey, did everyone see the details about Sonar 7 on the Cakewalk Product page?

(Kidding ... wanted to see how fast everyone would clear out of the forum.)

I have a suggestion on how to fill some posts. Let's use this thread to see SONAR 6 off. Please list some of your favorite things about SONAR 6.

I love ACT.

My band has Sonar running at three different locations with different gear acting as interfaces. Act has made it super easy to get a smooth workflow no matter what location we are at.

Here is the new featurelist:

  • Added ‘Mosquito sound’ to the TTS-1
New synth that is based on grunt noises (producer version only)
Added user-definable noises when operating a slider in the mixer view (squeeking-door sound supplied)
Default color of volume envelope is now red
New spectacular 3d shadow effect on all buttons, influenced by the time of the day and the related vectors of the suns’ lightbeams
The paper manual has a new smell

  • Automatically gives cryptic message to "download new drivers for your sound card" rather than wasting precious time checking for compatibility.

    ...oh, wait, that's Vista.

I think the Cakewalk office is having a huge party at the moment.

They are all sitting around watching this forum grow in their board room, on the big projector, while drinking glasses of Moet&Chandon!
