I really don't think the ad was 'bad'. It's a bit like AMD challenging Intel (CEOs) to a boxing dual. . .. they are confident enough of their product to issue a challenge that they know at worst will be just ignored and at best, will provide a bit of light-heartedness into the "mine is better than yours" debate.
