Drummer and his musician friend, (a guitarist), chatting away in a pub over a well-earned, post-rehearsal pint.

Drummer: "Cor, I had this nightmare session gig the other day..."

Guitarist: "yeah?"

D: "Yeah... it was filling-in for the regular drummer in a jazz ensemble - piano quartet i think it was... well there was five of them anyway..."

G: [knowing look of concern] "oh right...?"

D: "yeah, they were making me play in 7/8... it was a nightmare! It took me ages to get into the groove..."

G: "How did you finally manage to lock in with them?"

D: "well, it was easy once I started counting the beat out loud..."

G: "I see... "

D: "yeah, all I had to do was count: 'one' 'two' 'three' 'four' 'five' 'six' 'se-' '-ven'

then it all just slotted into place....."

Hey. That's just mean. hehe..

1 2 3 testing testing

I used to do a mic test saying "2...7..." It would bug the heck out of the guitar player.

I like the lead in to this joke... "A drummer and his musician friend" - good stuff.

Hi, I won the free Sonar 7, but I lost the manual. Can somebody send me a copy?

That was pretty good...

Except, judging from the v5 manual, the manual itself hadn't been updated since v2, so I'm not sure how revealing the v7 manual will be :)

Our Marketing friend surely had to have known how quickly this thread would reach 6000 posts. Sonar 7 is likely scheduled for release tomorrow.

They've already posted that that wasn't the case.
