I showed Chris Brooks this thread and he also asked me to pass on his thanks to everyone. He's not used to all the nice comments - he usually gets elitist gear and technique trolls on guitar forums giving him grief. I told him this forum is one of the better ones on the net, and a big reason I've been here since the Usenet days (despite not being much of an active poster).

We're in the process of cooking up a nice blues based collaboration now, so I'll give you guys a listen when it's all done. :)

Fantastic...  thoroughly enjoyed every minute!    Sure, it's very 80s, but it's also very good.   Obviously it's centered on the solos, and your sweep picking/tapping/harmonics along with Chris' completely fluid & melodic phrasing (and really efficient picking) work so well together.
