The Apology.

I wrote and recorded this during a rather difficult time in life.

The piano is actually a guitar synth - the guitar is a Gibson es335.

Beautiful, Mark... I really enjoyed this. And while I was waiting for something else to upload I let the soundclick player feed me some more of your stuff... Till there was you and then If. Excellent and almost "ambient," if you don't mind me saying so

    cheers

Oh yeah, that's lovely. Beautiful tone and phrasing, and tons of feeling.

synkrotron - thanks for taking a listen to all of those tunes. I did about 7 ballads for a cd that all of my relatives were bugging me for. I gave a bunch of them out on Thanksgiving. Thanks again - had fun doing these.

    daryl - thank you buddy.

james - all of those tunes were written as heartfelt tunes - I just tried my best not to screw them up.  ;-D

wookiee - the guitar I used on the piano was a Godin LGX played through a Roland GR-30. Thanks for taking the time.

Very sad and very nice, Mark -- from the 1:40 or so point on your playing is particularly expressive and beautiful.   Good use of reverb too -- really fits the moods.
