Funny Stuff, unless we are going to see the very first real live clone, which I for one, would choose Keith Moon as my first cloned human, I don't think Keith will accept!!

Damm imagine Keith at the opening ceremony, I'd watch that!!!

The Elvis camp hasn't nixed the invite they received yet ('cause they're not really sure he's dead).

    He isn't.

I've seen him.  They might as well nix the invite though because he said he doesn't fancy going.

I dunno what Daltrey's doing on American TV making out to the world that us Brits are stupid.

We have an elected government that does that job perfectly well.

I went to Graceland to see Elvis once, but they wouldn't let me in with my shovel...

Exactly, nobody messes with the Graceland gardens except Elvis himself.  Gardening is currently his favourite pastime.

They may have to settle for Zak.

One thing is sure Moon will be forever young in pop culture. Last month's GuitarPlayer magazine had Hendrix on the cover (again) but in big letters across the top of the cover it says "Hendrix at 70"... I don't quite understand why but it disturbs me to see that. It just never occurred to me to think of Jimi as anything other than 27. Hendrix at 70yo does not compute in my brain. It actually bothers me to  think of this ... and imagine Moon at 70. I'm sure he would have had a liver transplant by now and I don't imagine there is any way he could play the drums like he did as a young man... some of his beats would be impossible if not for the fact that he actually played them.

Sorry for the rambling post but this just reminded me of how odd I felt reading the header "Hendrix at 70"... I guess the same goes for Keith Moon. I cannot imagine an elderly Keith Moon. Can you?

Wait... I thought Elvis is actually alive, performed as Orion.. and Paul is actually dead. I am confused.
