The Christmas Song
I have this arrangement written out and decided to re-record it. I posted a older version 2 years ago from a recording I did when I lived in Shreveport. It had a lot of Sonar 8.5 and reverb in it. This was recorded with Sonar X-2a and sounds quite different to me though played the same. I leave for the Holidays tomorrow morning but before I go I want to post this version. I hope it helps inspire a holiday spirit within you. HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE! Christmas Song

Wow... beautiful version..... nice playing, and love those colorful chords. Delicate and airy..... nice groove change. Absolutely loved it.

Just incredible!! What a nice interpretation of a classic song. And I loved the harmonics at the beginning. Sweet!

Thanks guys! I got back this afternoon and what a great time I had! Much food and good cheer. It makes me want to go visiting for the Christmas holidays too. I may just do that if my gigs cancel around New Year's Eve. Thanks for taking the time to listen!

Beautiful! Haven't listened to your stuff in years. Very good! Just a bit of hiss, but sometimes that can't be helped. Was recorded in a natural environment, I gather? Your instrumentation is just stellar! I mean that most sincerely! This is my fave secular Christmas song - you've done it justice, that's for sure! :-) Take care, Martin D.
