Think I may need to revisit this as I have spent the afternoon mixing and my ears may be tired consequently I will reserve my comments for fresh ears. Thanks for sharing your innumerable talents good peeps of the Coffee House Band.

I thought I had already commented on this one. It's a one-of-a-kind. A lot of creativity and team work went into this. The guitars are killer. Another CHB hit.

Ha, this is fun! I listened on the Soundclick page and then went to the CHB page. I never really notice a lot of difference in the sound on these things but I really DID notice the quality difference between the two pages. What a fun tune! Every did a great job on their parts. The mix is really good on this one. And, oh yeah, YOU GUYS ARE NUTS!!!

It struck me as a bit much verb on the acoustic guitar in the begining. And when that electric came in over there <--- It felt a bit too present. In the over all mix when it's all kicked in, really can't hear the drums. (I can hear the kick, but the snare "to me" seems burried) I would mix all of the drums to a drum bus. I have lots of drum buses? I have a snare bus (where I send multiple snares) I have a Tom bus, where I send the toms, a kick bus (you guessed it) I have a room and OH bus? I have a cymbals bus, I have FX buses for the drums with sends from the other buses? And ultimately I send everything to the "all drums" bus, and from their to the mains. But drums are hard... They are in fact, a "rhymes with witch." I hate the drums, to me they are the hardest thing to get right. But on this, they could be better. This feels like it was mixed by one or more of the guitarists. The performances are excellent. No disrespect, just my unvarnished opinion. I know you won't get many constructive crits here, most will merely stop by and register their approval, Nothing wrong with that. And please keep in mind, different people will hear your stuff differently as you well know. But also keep in mind, when more than one person hears the same thing? "Guess what?" Remember, pride goeth before the fall. Oh and "loose weight." (not you, but everyone)

As promised came back today with fresh ears. Listened to both links, have to say that the acoustic opening does sound a little overly verby and there does seem to be a general lack of bottom to lower mid weight. Which could be my furry ears. The track does sound like you each had respective fun in its production. Again thanks for sharing will keep an eye out for any possible remixes.

asparagus..? a song about the band playing the song... I love it... it's exactly like "Sultans of Swing"... only completely different... I feel like an oxymoron, just being here... love the group effort thing, and all the name dropping... I don't know how you do it... (btw, who am I typing to ?) I'm trying to free-associate, but I just can't pull it off... it costs too much... you know... time, effort... Thanks for posting this music... ( there, I said it) I can never repay you... no really, I'll never repay you... seriously... I really enjoyed listening, and can't wait for the CD...

love the intro.. man, one moment your listening to this super sweet arppegio, then it's rasp city! almost sounds like a cocked wah.... LOL it's a true story, i gather...... :) i like the synth solos across that raspy rhythm thing....
great solos all around.... especially like the gnarly one at 3:09 that one's just got serious attitude! there's too many influences here to even box it up nice and neat.. Thundering bass, brain melting drums Keyboards so sharp they slice off your plums Guitar chords from hell, singing so loud A band of whom Grzylyrg can surely be proud heheh, i've always wondered how to pronounce that name nice combo of tunes at the end.....

Hey there, Coffee House Band crew! Killer job by everyone on this monster progressive rocker! I love the acoustic intro with the strings and the transition into Steve's scorching, punchy wall of guitars, Phil's growling Vox are super, the bass and drums are kicking the groove down the alley, and Jason's solos are phenomenal. Really like the piano and organ fills and bells, and I especially liked the wacky lyrics, Bapsi's commentary and the high quality "radio playing". LOL, Hey, Steve, where can a I sign up for some radio lessons? But seriously, guys, very cool song with amazing creativity and excellent musicianship combined with a great bunch of guys with a fantastic sense of humor! Super job, CHB guys! Now I'm quickly off to cover my plums in titanium while I still can! Best wishes! Bob

Long time coming guys, but worth the wait. Proper stonking great epic this 'un. Excellent arrangement and playing from everyone, top notch stuff. Got to beef up those drums though, the mix is really top heavy with (excellent) guitars to my ears.
