The Epic-est Thing You'll Hear Today!!!

I tend to gravitate towards strings and piano.  I tried to write something that used Woodwinds and Brass (and some strings!).  This was more of an experiment/learning process than a song - but, hey...  It sounded alright to me in the end!

Suggestions for a title!?

Any input about the woodwinds would be great.  All feedback is appreciated.

I am not sure about it being the epic-set thing I have heard today, but my furry ears tell me it sounds nice and I consequently enjoyed it, thanks for sharing.

That was nice!   If this was your first foray into woodwinds and brass, then I'd say... well done.

    How about Epiwodras?

I've used them both before, but don't have a lot of practice.  I think Woodwinds are a definite weakness - unless I'm doing something that calls for a particular instrument to be used as a lead, I almost never even think to put them in...

Thanks for your input...   Epiwodras is my leading title right now!!!

The theme brought up images of soldiers marching off to an epic battle (Lord of the Rings soundtrack maybe). I know it's not easy to compose orchestral music, but you did a great job with this piece.

Not sure what to say about the woodwinds. There's a flute and maybe a bassoon at the beginning, but I didn't hear much of them after the first minute or so. They didn't seem to stand out like the horns and strings did.

I agree with Bjorn, militaristic.  I'm not good at titles nor movie music, so I'll refrain from mentioning a title.
