I know the guitar sound is pretty mangled for this excercise, but honestly I tried it before with the old pups and it just didn't stand up next to the original sound.

Now there is enough tone in the clean sound to withstand that amount of abuse.

It also shows that I can generate a few guitar parts for my own recordings and of course the more I do the more capable I get.  I'd much rather give something a go than get some horrible sounding 'guitar' rompler that shouts 'midi' atcha, and when I need something beyond me there's plenty of talent round here willing to lend a hand.

The upgrade has really inspired me to pick the thing up regularly and that's probably the biggest thing anyone could have done for my playing.

    IOW it's all your fault...

Well I did spend a whole lifetime not being any good at anything else, so if I don't know drums I ain't got much else.

You must have heard the conversation my wife and I had this morning...
She asked if they were still working..( LOL)...I told her they had a strong magnetic
power that seemed to be attracting many good things...:)

I was very proud and humbled Jon. Thank you.

Good point.  Actually that's where I first met Ms Bouy so maybe there was some freudian thing in that statement...
