The FX-Bin needs to be revised

On the one hand it is difficult to see which effect is turned on. The contrast is very bad.
On the other hand disabled effects "sometimes" are still turned on. Often I have to turn "on and off" the effect twice.
That is not always so, but again and again. I have this phenomenon on 3 computers.
I use plugins from iZotope, Waves, Voxengo.
And sometimes - very rare - muted tracks are still playing. I have to unmute and mute again.
It's essentially the same problem with the effects turned on and off.
This happens on 3 computers, with different audiocards.
Because we do not make music but digitize recordings, we often toggle effects and tracks on and off.

This problems are only since Platinum. I never had this in the last ten years before.

We digitize tapes, vinyl, dat, md ... in broadcast and studio quality for publishers, public institutions and individuals.
4 x Intel Quad-CPU, 4GHz Sonar Platinum (Windows 10 - 64Bit) and 14 computers for recording tapes, vinyl ...

4 x RME Fireface 800, 2 x Roland Octa Capture and 4 x Roland Quad Capture, Focusrite .... Studer A80, RP99, EMT948 ...

I think this comment belongs over in the Features & Ideas section, where incidently, I have posted a couple times the same comment.

Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.

I agree with the contrast issue 100% or at least there could be some icon involvement to show status (to help the color blind folks).

I have not experienced the other issues but will keep an eye out for them.

Personally I find the new FX "Rack" (the name change is a little silly but I guess that's more similar/accurate to analog days than "Bin" ever was) to be far more stable though. I like it very much in this regard because I used to get some strange behavior with the old Bin including crashes. The fact it continues taking up vertical real estate the more you add to it worried me at first but so far has not been an issue because I just have not had any tracks with a mountain of plugs inserted anyway so I don't think it will ever become a REAL problem. I'll probably start relying more on FX Chain modules anyway.

Edit: Moved as I was typing. Voted with 5 stars... but just for the contrast issue.

Big +1 on on/off contrasting colors of FX in the bin.
