The Great Commission - Collab

I worked on this one yesterday untill 4:00 A.M. I'd like to possibilly add some collab to this one. I have laid down the basics for this and thought I would maybe add some of your talants to this. Email me your vision for your part. Send me an mp3 but save your wav file, incase I decide to use your part in the final mix. This is based on Mark 16:15-18.

I hope this one turns out totally awesome. It has a really good beat and a lot of my devoted time. I added keyboards very low in this so additional keyboards could be dub over or blended in. Tae your best shot. Would also love additional bass, rhythem and lead guitar, possibilly acoustic for the rhythem or a blend of guitars. I will be playing some guitar in this myself, but don't quite know what untill I deside on the final mix. Thanks for your support in advance. John

The Great Commission on my SoundClick site- click music. Have fun.

James's (jamesg1213) part (electric guitar), which buy the way really gives this song the flare that it needs. Thank you James, you are an asset to the so far. The song can also be extended and have may small parts to it so please contribute. Also any ideas for vocals are welcomed? Still open for keyboards, flute, sax, other guitars or whatever!!

I put the original song back up with James part only. I was a little hasty on getting more collab and would really like this to be something out of the ordinary. I hope some of you will participate. My part is the background that is done your parts are what ever you would like to contribute. There is still lots of room. Hope to hear some good ideas. Thanks John

Well, not any takers as of yet, so I decided to play around with this song and create one version with what I have from james (this is just a version, I'm still waiting for your sounds for this piece). Anyway, you can check it out on MySpace. "The Great Commission". Let me know your thoughts on this particular version. I used flange on the electric guitar that I play, added some bass guitar and some acoustic guitar. Comments please on the over all version. Thank you.

Click on MySpace below. The song is best listened to with volume up and headphones unless you have good monitors. Thanks! John

Well, I had this little guitar arpeggio running in my head, and at 3:20 James started playing it! Hmm.
I've been inspirationally challenged lately, But maybe....

RobertB, There is plenty of room in the song for many parts and even for leads over other guitar parts. Never know what's going to happen for the end result of a collab song. Just send what you would like and there is always cut and paste . Glad you like the tune and want to be a part of it. John

Just reloaded this jam. So far, it is John (me) on first guitar and James (jamesg1213) on second guitar. There is plenty of room for what ever in the middle and at the end of this if anyone is still interested. Let us know what you think. Thanks!

Just thought you may want to know this collab- not even finished hit #1 in Christian Rock out of 6,034 songs and #13 in Rock out of 136,038. To me that isn't bad for a work in the making and not even finished. It was probably James part that did it. Thanks James!! Great job.

Well, it is nearly finished. There are more special effects, 3 guitar players and it's sounding better all the time. I just can't help myself! HA! HA! Really, this needs something else to finish it, like some Bill Davies keyboards or some good acoustic guitar fill in maybe. I just can't quite put a handle on it. Maybe some flute or piccalo. Just not sure. Any ideas out there? The song is only 2.5 mb so there is plenty of room for more. Let me know what you think so far! Thanks John
