Okay...really like the guitar tones you used on this.

The drums, particularly the kick, could stand to come up a bit. The bass is there, but is somewhat buried by the modulation on all the guitars. You might think about EQing the bass a bit to get some bite into it so it punches through better.

Thx guys for the time to listen and comment back.  I greatly agree the drums are too low.  After the MP3 conversion, they dropped a tad and then after uploading to the SoundClick, they seemed to disappear.  At that point, I didn't feel like backtracking my efforts to redo the online version, but now feel it needs to be fixed.  There is a snare drum roll, leading into the drums, that you don't even hear anymore.  When I listened to proof on SoundClick...I went; "what the H happened to the drums??" As an aside, I squashed the heck out of the drums with the new Boz Manic Compressor, in an attempt to make them more like what you guys are suggesting.  Same with the kick inside Superior Drummer.  However and obviously, still not enough.

Also, there is NO bass track.... some lower synth notes, but not an actually bass or VSTi bass.  Think Doors, etc.  I do this a lot and leave bass guitar tracks out, and prefer to use more full range synth sounds.  I'll double check that again though too.

    Thx again

Still needs a "real" bass. Not heavy enough in relation to the geeters.

I'm not sure I like the new chord sequence. I guess it needs vocals to be sure.

As far as rockin out, awesome!!! Nice work!

thxs gtrpima.  It's an instrumental, and was a one night ordeal.  It was intentional to play off the original chords, although the same basic ones are still buried in there to some degree.  After listening, I grew tired of it a little and my wife said the beginning sounds like a funeral!  lol...
Thx mucho for the listen and time to comment.

firstly, great title. I agree that the drums are too low in the mix but everything else sounds great - guitars are the biz

Cool!   Drum levels aside, I really liked the total rocked out feel.   Guitars are nice and crunchy.

But most of all... loved the ending.   Delightfully twisted.
