The Ice Man...

The one and only Jerry "Ice Man" Butler was in town last night.
 
He had to leave the stage after singing about a dozen songs.

There was no follow up info as to his condition or what the issue was.

    Update: He was released and is back home in Illinois and they said it was simply a case of exhaustion.....  I think he's like 80 years old so....yeah,,,,, no doubt.
     
    All's well that ends well. After he was taken to the hospital, some local musicians jumped up on stage and did a tribute show for the audience of Jerry's music. They said it went well. The venue was an old movie theater that has been "preserved" by the historic society and is thus a fairly small venue. It's used by the arts council for plays, concerts, and other "artistic" events.
