The Judas Kiss...

As my vanity project proceeds apace...here's another tune.  Written for my dear grandmom who raised me from a pup but was overtaken by dementia long before I amounted to anything more than a bucket of warm spit.  As always, my disclaimer is that these are all "early mixes" to check web playback.  Thanks for listening.

I love the song a lot.  I can't remember the last time I listened to any of your music.  I love the melody and your vocal.  Moody Blues with some country s p i c e .  Lyrics shine.
All the flavors work very well.  Guitar work is very moving.  Great work.

I agree with Rimshot, this all works together very nicely and has a really nice sound to it. Vocals bring this full circle. Nice creative piece of music. Great song. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful! Believe it or not, I first heard your stuff years ago from the "Shock the Monkey" remix competition. One of my favorite remixes!

Love this song...has lots of heart.

WOW!  I really found this deeply moving.  Everything works so well together.  The bagpipes at the end is what really got me.  They (bagpipes) reminded me of this past Memorial day service put on at the Local Veterians Park.  The musician was dressed in a full Scottish dress Kilt and played Amazing Grace as he marched through the area.  Also very moving.

Ol Pal, I am presently losing a dear friend, who has been instrumential in my life, to dementia.  It's a difficult thing to witness.  Thanks for sharing.

Wonderful tune. Terrific words and music - moody, sentimental without being maudlin. The production is awesome - has a bit of Robbie Robertson/ Daniel Lanois in there (I love it).  Love the out-front electric. It is so sparse and tasteful that it never overpowers, it just sort of shimmers like a form of orchestration.
    Great job.

Very nice OlPal. Was reminiscent of some early Grateful Dead in spots. Love the bagpipes. Good job on this!

Wow!  A country-trance hybrid (to my ears).  Mesmerizing and invoking.
