great saxamaphone... Always wanted to learn to play one. The song and arrangement are sweet, but it cries out for vocals and a story... Which should push the sax and guitar to more of a supporting role. Good job. I don't care for most jazz, but this is quite excellent.

All you need is love, just ask the Beatles?

Sax is awesome. The track doesn't do it justice IMO.

Way cool expressive playing .. mix seems pretty hot in the high end, a tad unrepresented in the low end, and much more compressed than I prefer, but the excellent musicianship does come through. I'd like to hear this after the mix issues get sorted. PS What I like about the musicianship is the balance of the intensity of the performance, the lryicism of the lines, and the apparent easy relaxed delivery. Sounds like a stellar lineup in this.

The performances in this piece are very good.  I love the chord progression and the arrangement.  I don't think over compression is the issue here.  I may be a bit old school, but I like to hear a wide stereo mix.  So much is panned toward the center.  I would like to hear the instruments spread out a bit more which would help give it some breathing room.  And, a bit of front to back separation to give it some three dimensionality.  It all makes a difference whether this is listened to on speakers, headphones, or in a car.  Other than this, this song is a killer.

    All the best,
    Lynn
